I loved everyting about this. Beautifully written- polished but didn't feel too worked over. Everything I've read from you has been nice but this was stellar.
These lines were especially skillful: Oppressed like Taliban women were when warriors wouldn't where there wisdom. Reflecting The Light like prisms, mental prisons, religion relentlessly, endlessly, signifies a sad submission... When parents can't pay tuition, public schools, where private fools, lay and listen, to a government who governs them with no intentions, of education, Presidents praise them, while we remain an unintelligent nation... Oppression has an echo, why do you think drugs are so cheap in the ghetto. Crack couldn't kill, so They laced it, FBI still wasn't satisfied, Heroine replaced it... A generation gone, adolescents addicted before they are born.
