Welcome to our first Challenge Of The Month. (Please feel free to inbox suggestions of changes that could/should be made, ideas that could make this better, & of course suggestions for future challenges!)

For January the challenge will be the 10 Word Challenge.
Here is how it works:
Below is a topic and a list of 10 words. The words were randomly chosen.
You must use at least one word in each line. Open form (poetry, prose, freestyle, etc. Anything you like or can think of.) But it must be on topic.
You don’t HAVE to use the words in order, but at least try. (That’s why its called a “challenge” people! lol) Put the words used in CAPS so we can see them in your piece. And lastly please leave feedback for others submissions. The best thing about the 10-word challenge is that it’s so open ended. For example in the sample challenge posted below (reply # 1) with the topic being Freedom. One person may write about freedom from oppression, their job, marriage, etc. Where as another may write about freedom from “freedom” itself. Freedom from making choices & decisions. (i.e. prison mentality)
