because i didn't hear it. Remember that there are still millions of hip hop heads that don't know who you are at all. To me, its a chance to reintroduce yourself through something timely and clever. And it will give you more exposure than it did last year because the industry heads remember.
Don't worry about being known as the "Rap Up Guy". Whatever makes you happy and/or successful is worth doing. Do you think ?uest cares about being known as the "afro guy"? I mean every artist is pidgeonholed in some way. Its inevitable. So if you can't beat em, join em.
