With over 5,000 songs submitted for consideration for inclusion on the first Okayplayer Records, True Notes Vol. 1 (May 18th), it is hard to imagine the process of having to sort through them all. After weeks of digging out from the pile of packages, organizing the contents, and ultimately listening to each and every CD, contestants were narrowed down to 100 and then a final 30. Starting today up until the release of the record on May 18th, we will be highlighting select tracks from some of "The Runners".
