I said to myself that I needed to start a thread about disguised "racial" slurs after this MCA person called me "emotional". I tell ya what, experience racism . . I mean REALLY experience someone fucking with ya because of what race or color ya are . . . A graduate classroom setting of soon-to-be empathic clinical psychologists who don't feel "safe" because of how you speak freely about the evil that whites do . . . or how about going out with a white guy in high school and his mother calls your coach to talk you out of being with him, because it ain't right . . . I could talk about the girl scout experience but we;d be here all night. The point is, it doesn't feel good, in fact I can think of an emotion . . . sad. And when I have no power to defend myself , I become angry and express that emotion. It goes hand and hand with racism, sweety. <BR>It's wonderful to wish to forget or sweep the evil that's been done underneath the carpet . . . but honey, institutionalized racism has taken it's course. It's not going any where. We're still experiencing things every day. And the words we use to front off our own racism. . ."emotional", "reverse racism", any one have other fake racist words that they some times come in contact with?<BR>OH YEAH!!! How many white folks ride the nuts of Bob Marley???? And he's STRAIGHT UP talking about not digging white folks. "I shot the Sheriff" being a prime example. Oh my, what we must do to make the oppressor feel comfortable.
