See, here's where things get tricky on the issue of musical piracy. Do I have the album? Yes. Did I get it off my boy's PC? Yes. Will I buy the album? Probably.
But when I read all these stories about how the industry pays cats these ridiculously low rates for their diligence and brilliance, that makes me less likely to come off the ducats to buy a CD. It makes no sense how expensive CDs have gotten, and excess charge is all going straight to the pockets of stock holders and executives.
There are examples of people whose albums i feel more inclined to go and buy, and Com is on that status with me. Realize that are some people that are not doing this out of complete and total disregard to the artist, but moreso in defiance of this ridiculous system.
If a blank CD come at $40 bucks for 50 of them (and that's retail price), why the hell do I have to pay 19 for the jazzyfatnastees when they are going to barely see a penny??? the record company is robbin cats way more than lil ole me ever will.
