I have no problem with the original poster voicing his opinion. If you dont like D, or Bilal..thats cool. I've been the odd man out in an arguement MANY Times. Hell, I remember when all these so called "underground" heads were callin me the anti-christ when I told them that El-P was a talentless fuckhead.
But like ?uest mentioned in his response above, a person should be able to back up their opinions....I was able to back mine up:
A) He obviously cant rhyme, has no charisma, and makes Generic ass tracks ("Sitars and Pots and Pans"--Sole).
B) The guys a dick. Yeah. Just a complete cornball. Met him, talked to him...hated him.

But, the fact is that I was able to build up more of a reason as to WHY I didnt like him.
Now, nobody's saying that if you cant give a good reason as to why you dont like Bilal that you HAVE to like him. If you dont, you dont..and thats cool. However, this is an Open forum for *discussion*...and the people that log onto these boards every day do so just for that...to *discuss* the music they love (or hate). What you wrote, while being a completely valid, understandable opinion...does not offer any means of which people can break down your post and compose a fair, well thought out argument. That leaves people to beleive that your sole purpose for writing this was to draw attention to your negative comments.
Personally, I enjoy Bilals live performance, as well as some of his music that i've heard ...more than D's stuff. I think Bilal is more animated and interesting when performing live, and like Nickelz45 mentioned above...he has a MUCH broader Octave Range than D. To me, alot of D's vocals sound the same, pitchwise. As far as their personalities go...I cant even compare. I've never met D...but when I've Spoken to Bilal on a few occasions..he was always real mellow and down to earth.
See...I give reasons as to why I feel that way. Nobody *wants* to hate on you in here...but I agree that a good portion of these people LOVE to lash out at someone who doesnt share their views. BUT, if you compose a well written, well thought out arguement..no-one can tell you what to think, and you will give them no ammunituon to shoot at you.
