what up...i just have to let somebody know about my disappointing encounter with ?uestlove. as with most of us, the roots are our group. naturally i had to be there to represent last tuesday here in phoenix at club rio when they performed (and they really fuckin performed) with dilated peoples. i waited sidestage for an hour to show love as they all got off the bus and on stage. black thought came through and said what up and i paid my respects. scratch came through and said what up and i paid my respects. but when ?uest came through, i had my hand out to let him know how much i can't wait for that philly experiment to come out and he responded quote "get out of my way" without even laying eyes on me. i was surprised at his attitude toward a long-time fan, but maybe i shouldn't have been. so big ups to the roots for a tight ass show, but fuck Questlove for actin so shady.
