Hey man, I'm just callin' it like I see it. Geordi isn't the poster boy for societies ill's, but he's a great poster boy for all the really messed up black characters that so many white men pull out of their warped imaginations and sell to us to warp our self-image. And really, I don't think they do it on purpose - I think in their fantasy world they just naturally prefer Black people (and other minorities) be relegated to the background.
It's not messed up for white people to see themselves as the stars of the show and us as the supporting cast. It's messed up when we start to accept it as a compliment and take pride in it.
