u ARE aware that outside of philly/nyc/& dc...& we're not talkin all of nyc & all of dc that the blk lily is well-known or heard of...that even the majority of ppl on this site have not been privy to a blk lily performance & if not for the OKAYPLAYER TOUR would not have been able to see jag...nou-ra...flo brown or either of u {the jazzys} perform...& u really can't have me believe u all took advantage of the opportunity to perform because the name of the tour was condusive to ur likings & not offensive to the blk lily name itself...even the concept of the okayplayer tour was not female artist friendly...the date i saw really served to showcase u all as marquee'd background singers & special added guests...the show was highly enjoyable...it was just a very dick-heavy tour

but mercedes...u cannot sit here & have me go off ur journal entries {the later 2} & think ur problem w/this tour stems solely frum it sharin the title "black" or that it encompasses some of the same talent as the blk lily showcase has...not DOES...HAS...should jag & flow spearhead a tour such as that then fine...i could see ur problem w/that on a few fronts...but blk lily is not responsible for the successes of erykah...macy or even jill...u know as well as i do {& i'm not in "the business"} that the likelihood of gettin platinum/grammy award nominated/winning artists to perform at such events highlightin fledglin or yet-to-be-signed artists is really unheard of...so are they really takin away frum u???...when had u all entertain'd the thought of venturin off the east coast w/blk lily???...is it that now if u were to it would appear as tho u were followin behind ur own idea???...i can understand that...i am in an 'arena' where i share my thoughts & worry constantly that i may appear on a stage & have someone say "man that's some of ________'s shit" knowin good & well that bitch took that shit frum me because i am about mines
