Everybody is talking about Rucker's "deep" pieces on the Roots albums. The equivalent of that on the album, if there has to be one, would be "Song For Billy". I'm not going to compare the intensity of it to the other tracks she did for the Roots, but it is on that level. The great thing about SUPA SISTA though is that unlike in the past, where her pieces were followed by a Roots surprise, this time we get to hear her end things on her own, with the hidden "I Keep Secrets" (which somehow, is appropriate as a "hidden" track). It's almost as if to say "I just took you deeper than I have ever taken you, now let's ease up but... I'll do it one last time, until next time."
