"?uest, read this little letter I just found......"
?uest, This letter is in the feedback section of the 2-11-02 publication of eurweb.com. Apparently, you hurt this woman's feelings a few years ago. I'm mad @ EUR's editors because, although the reader was unaware that she spelled your nickname incorrectly, the editors made no effort to change the spelling before they went to press. Damn journalists! Though the first sentence of the letter (and the D'Angelo reference) made me titter, the crux of this letter is very sad. She seems to paint herself as a strong woman, but it's evident that what she claimed you did still hurts her. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> *Tam a.k.a. BLAZON (no city given): "Well, it's Black History Month and I got beef. I got beef every-time I see or hear about Qwest Love from the Roots and I have been carrying this around for a couple years now, because I don't like to hate on others. I met Qwest Love when he toured with D'Angelo on the Voodoo tour in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. My friend and I had back stage passes and I was trying to get his autograph but he put me on hold so that he could make a play on a white girl with a very short skirt. I cannot tell you how much that hurt, especially since he and his group are very pro black and plus I knew I looked good, (good enough to get D'Angelo's attention). There are still so many black women struggling to love themselves and I can tell you if I was one of those women, he would have destroyed years of therapy. I didn't get the chance to vent then, but I hope he's reading this. And I'd love to see him try to answer this one cuz he CAN'T! There isn't any excuse.
