70. "jag is not the lesser of 5 evils" In response to In response to 69
perhaps it's just me but lovers rock didn't hardly move me as much as the previous 4 did.
and even though i was part of the production team of "mama's gun", i can count a few moments i could do without, not to mention some cleanup work that coulda been done engineerwise.
ang's album is growing on me.
i already fucks with res and jill.
so i agree with some of your choices.
but jag is in my top 5.
(this sade album is not. i love her lyrics, and melody....but i am so accustomed to her previous production work, that i just feel it is a step backwards
yes this coming from a man involved with 3 major production changes of cats y'all wouldn't mind doing the same album over and over and over again (ery, d, com))
if i ever went solo, my favorite drummer would be me bragging sig:
"How great are the Roots live? Their drummer.oh my god, he's such a great drummer. He's so good. So good! Such a great drummer. Is he one of those musicians that knows how to play everything? He's such a great drummer. I love them." -james king
