It has come to the attention of management that there are a number of activities connected with this site which may be non-compliant with ISO 9042, the governing charter for websites hosted and/or operated in the United States of America and subject to the Fair Internet Use Act of 1998.
In advance of a potential federal audit, the management of Okayplayer will be conducting a self-assessment, to test for compliance, and give themselves a chance to improve. This should be taken with all seriousness and given the highest priority. Please be cooperative with all OKP Auditors, but remember, do not volunteer any more information beyond what they request.
Dan contacted me to help organize this, because of my corporate experience, and I have agreed to volunteer my services, because i love this site and would not want to see it shut down (again) due to non-compliance with federal regulations.
