I talking about kisMAC, if any of you are hip to this. I'm just starting out with this program and have also watched a few videos of guys cracking WEP protected wifi in anywhere from 10 minutes to 60 seconds.

Mac's Airport Extreme are bitchy about passively monitoring other networks and capturing data to "check on the security of your own network." Wink. Wink. Any of you okayhackers out there experienced with this? So much techno speak on the boards it's a bit heavy to wade through. Do we have the knowledge here to start up a convo about it, because it could be a good resource for those of us who are "interested in the security of their own wifi" as well as learning a bit of practical hacking knowledge.
