What kind of new dvd player do I have to get. PS3 supports all formats.

MPEG1 or MPEG2 files don't work?

I got a converter, I think one that you mentioned. What do you mean avi to dvd? Dvd is not a file. Maybe you mean a program that burns and accepts avi files?


Why would it only play on the notebooks dvd player?

keep in mind DVD+R's aren't compatible with some older players
