1. "well, it's a damn good game, the best SmackDown ever, but not perfect." In response to In response to 0
Hopefully, they do one more PS2 title to undo the minor problems with this game. However, The Doc doesn't believe that THQ will be able make a SmackDown game with this kind of cast again (best one since HCTP ITDO).
There weren't a lot of non-WWE finishers or moves in this game, and they lost a whole lot of the ones that had been in WWE for a while.
The restrictions on female characters was kind of wack (generally, The Doc is more concerned about the created ones than the standard ones...but judging by some language used in the game, The Doc is wondering if something was changed at the last minute).
Though gameplay wise, this game is better, much better than No Mercy 95% of the time.
Some of the gimmick matches are HILARIOUS (Bar Brawl especially).
The legends are the best legend collection to date, though the primary method of unlocking Jake Roberts is BULLSHIT. Using a PSP? Nope. (Though there is talk that he becomes unlockable by drafting him in the 2nd year of GM Mode).
The Doc hears that it's hard to find the right lobby online, but at least you can do some different matches than last year (which is what made online lasr year WACK).
The Doc's just mad he had to resort to Codebreakering the shortcomings in this game (as few as they were).
