Before ME3 I played through 1 and 2 again in full, and the drop off in quality storytelling was tangible. I tend to lose interest in games that just throw a bunch of shit at you, and because of that I've never finished an Elder Scrolls or Fallout game. I don't always play games for story but if I do, it needs to hold my attention.
I preordered, but I don't feel great about it.
THAT SAID... ME3 multiplayer was the TRUTH, I fucking loved it. I spent way more time on that than I did on the main campaign, and if ME4 improves on that formula I suspect I'll still get my money's worth.
How was DA:I? I heard it was supposed to be a return to form for the series after the abomination that was DA2 (I loved the first one). I've also heard mixed impressions on Inquisition so I ended up never pulling the trigger.
