Thought this would be a neat High Tech Post. I'm sure all of us have cool ideas we'd like to execute. Maybe this post can serve as a depository for tech ideas you'd like to do, but don't really know how to go about it. Let's Build!

So; I got through cell phones....and whenever I get a new phone, I usually get one of those extended batteries. Over the the past 6 years or so, I've accumulated a LOT of battery power that I hate to see just collecting dust. It'd be great if I could re-purpose those batteries for use in other electronics. How can I go about making an adapter that would make those batteries USB compatible to power other devices?? For example, it'd b cool to turn them into an external batter pack of some sort. Also, saw this cool idea: http://www.viewalongtheway.com/2012/08/lamp-hack-how-to-make-any-lamp-cordless/ and an old cell phone battery would be an ideal alternative.
