"Solve my computer issue please"

Sony Vaio laptop running Vista got the Windows Security 2011 virus.

My computer guy wiped the hard drive & reinstalled it, & I got it back Thursday.

Ran Windows Essentials & Malewarebytes nightly like he said, always came back error free.

Had it go to hibernate when I slept Thursday and Friday and Saturday night & turned it off thinking it needed rest.

Turned it on Sunday & there was the KSOD (no cursor).

An hour later it finally booted up to the desktop.

Googled & some sites said that happened & it was missing drivers.

Told Computer Guy that & he said maybe so he remotely connected last night & today & said Spybot found malware and Malwarebytes freezes.

He doesn't know what the problem is. Isn't obvious via remote access if it's hardware or a virus or something.

Thoughts?
