I need some help trying to connect my existing data set to a new database i've created in my project and i'm having some execution issues.

right now i have some forms that take user input and place that info into:
1) a datatable
2) a corresponding xml file

what i want to do with my newly created database is:

1) copy the info (data adapter) from the existing dataset that already has files
2) place the info in all of the correct columns/records of the database.


if you can help, let me know... i definitely could use a better understanding of execution, placement and implementation.
