"Media Disconnected, yet I'm connected, but cant view the net"

Hey OKP..i need help

I recently moved from my last place with an existing belkin wireless g

router that was working fine, now I'm at my new place where my

roommate has his own belkin wireless router that he's able to connect

on. I tried using his wireless ntwk on my lptp (dell), it states I'm

connected, using dhcp 192.168.2.2, yet i'm getting media disconnected.

Tried setting a static ip no luck, so I tried my router which is not

secured, same issue, pc sees the ip address. What's funny is I can

connect to the lan of both routers and direct to modem, and I can

also connect to other unsecured wireless ntwks, but the signal is low.

Why cant I connect to my own wireless or his?

take a message
