It’s incredible that Minnesota got Olivia Miles. They’re going to win multiple titles in the coming years, and she is a joy to watch play.

I love that Angel Reese landed in Atlanta - she’s the perfect addition to that team and I’m enjoying watching them the most right now. Gray and Howard are 2 of my favorite players to watch.

Paige Bueckers is an outstanding all around player, but can easily “blend in” too much sometimes - maybe partially a product of playing in that system at UConn. And playing with Arike, who stays ready to take over….it’s not a great fit IMO.

Washington is building something nice.

Vegas, NY, ATL, and Minnesota if Collier gets to 100% - that would be a hell of a final 4 in the playoffs, though Phoenix will be a tough out in the playoffs.

I was starting to think that Minnesota's window was closing. But Miles might be the kick in the ass this team needs. Her, Courtney Williams, Kayla McBride & Phee should be super tough together even though they'd be really small. Who's their big?

I'm not an Angel Reese fan but I love Alisha Grey. She's one of the most underrated players in the league. And Rhyne is dope too.

Man, this team is so incredibly young! I hope that the front office is patient with them because they could really have something special if things fall into place.

I'm gonna keep an eye out on Chicago too. They've been a mess for a few years but they have some solid pieces. I like Cardozo Rickea, Dijonai and Cloud. I'm not a big Skylar Diggins fan but she's tough. Let's see if they can make something happen.

We may try to take a trip to Toronto this summer so I'll definitely try to catch a game.

They got Natasha Howard inside now. Hopefully Phee can extend her prime long enough to overlap with Miles’ early prime. Miles looks like she’ll get there quickly, she’s really good.

I didn’t like Reese in the point forward role in Chicago, but they had terrible guard play last year. In ATL she can just hit the boards, defend, do the dirty work, and probably get some easier buckets as the 3rd/4th option.

Yeah, they added a lot of talent out of nowhere. Rickea is another young player that I really enjoy watching. Feels like she’s close to putting it all together and becoming a star, just needs to be more consistent.

I went to a game at Connecticut last year and had a great time, so I’m bummed that they’re leaving. Toronto might be a replacement for me - it’s about the same distance to the west for me, that Connecticut is to the east. Mabrey is gunning and putting up numbers in Toronto so far.

Plum is off to an MVP level start, and that was as good as it gets. Cam Brink is starting to break out - if she can play like that more consistently going forward, it makes LA an interesting team.

Carter is hooping for Vegas off the bench - incredible pickup for them.

I planned on just watching the first half and turning to Knicks/Cavs for the second half of that one but this game was too fun to watch and the Cavs fading was too predictable so I just kept it on this game. Never thought I’d watch an early season WNBA game over an ECF game, but here we are. No regrets.

When they really start clicking and the intensity gets at its peak - it’s really something else to watch. I think their best player’s games compliment each other well. Great starting 5. I wish they picked up C. Carter off the bench - I think they’d be the favorite, and I’d love to see them win it.

Surprised by how much Phoenix is struggling. I know they lost Sabally. But Bonner played great once they got her last year - I figured she might have one more good year in a bigger role, but she’s looking washed?

Toronto is fun. Kiki Rice might put some pressure on Miles for rookie of the year?

Hate to see Connecticut go out like this. That’s a proud franchise. But loving Morrow’s development - she’s got lots of potential.

Yeah, I don't know what their problem is. On paper, they look like they should be better than this. They fell into that Finals spot last year but this is ridiculous. Nogic, the rookie from Serbia, has been a nice surprise but Copper, Bonner and my girl AT have got to light a fire under their asses.

Morrow has been killing it. She was good in college but I didn't see her coming out like this in the league.

I try to dislike Notre Dame but she made it very difficult for me when she played there. I was happy she left. It made it easier to root for her. LOL

She's come out completely on fire this season and I love it. Minnesota should be even better when Napheesa gets healthy.

She wasn’t shooting the 3 well. If that game wasn’t an aberration and she starts knocking down 3’s at a high percentage, then I dont know if she has any flaws to her game.

First, guard is tough especially with only 4 slots. They should let you vote for 6.

Guards: Beckers, Plum, Miles, A. Gray

Front court: Wilson, Stewart, Reese, Iriafen, Thomas, Howard

All 5 starters in doubles, led by Reese with 21 and 11 and all types of clowning, in a win over the Fever while Clark continues to meltdown with tantrums and never gets a Tech for it. Best response is to beat her, and laugh at and clown her antics.

Olivia Miles might be the best guard in the league right today. She’s getting better and better, and…..who’s playing better than her? She’s can’t miss TV.

Vegas-Liberty in the cup finals should be fun.

Yup. They already had one of the best teams, and they added one of the best guards in the league? Who is only a rookie? Incredible.

Dallas….i mean, Paige is their franchise player. And they want her to be the primary playmaker and for good reason. Drafting Miles maybe would lessen both her and Paige’s effectiveness? Maybe? (I think you do it anyway personally), but couldn’t they have gotten more value by trading the pick?

No shade to Fudd - she’s having a very solid rookie year in her own right and is already an elite shooter. Just not sure they maximized the value of that #1 pick?

Back to back wins over that team/fanbase. Gotta love it.

I remember a couple of years back in the NCAA Tournament, Clark was doing her usual whining and complaining. Her father was in the stands and even he was yelling at her to shut up, stop crying and play ball.

Both extremely talented offensive players who struggle defensively and spend way too much time bitching at the refs.

That combined with the perception (at least partially based in truth) that the WNBA is both letting her get away with more and promoting her above everyone else even though she’s clearly not the best player in the league, and the element that her following has brought to that Fever fanbase - yeah, she’s real easy to root against at this point.

17-28 from the field. She’s been having a hell of a year, but that just took it to another level. Love to see it, she’s fun to watch when she has it going.

I can't front, I didn't like her at Notre Dame (I tend to root against the Irish until recently...but that's another story). But since she got in the league, she's been solid.

This season has been her coming out party. I will admit that I didn't think she could maintain that level of play all year long but she's been killin' it.

even in women’s college hoops where the elite talent gets consolidated at just a handful of schools, that team had Mabrey, Jackie Young, Shepard, and Arike. That’s gotta be a contender for all time best roster. 4 legitimately very good WNBA players. It’s crazy that Mabrey and Shepard could be battling it out for MIP this year.

Definitely took away from it, but was still a good game. It’s good to see Sabrina looking like herself - hoping she’s healthy and in top form the rest of the way.

Both behavior and performance wise. Fever have been way better when she doesn’t play. She’s out there taking dumb shots and bricking everything, throwing the ball away, flopping all over the place and screaming at refs - embarrassingly bad all the way around.

and i don't mean her production, i mean her play style and her attitude. i feel like she may be paying too much attention to her own narrative.

like, when she was a rookie, people would fuck with her, and she was more apt to let it roll off her back and just try to play through it (play style), or at least that's how i remember it.

now, she's losing it with players, losing it with refs, etc. while i understand that it's frustrating to be targeted, when you can't control your emotions it makes people want to do it MORE because they know it gets to you.

and she has no mid range game. So overplay her, pressure her, and she’ll turn it over and force up bad 30 footers.

She’s buying into the bullshit because she knows she doesn’t have the handles to do anything about it. She needs “HALLLLLLLLLPPPPPP”. Lmao.

Crying for a foul for getting “kneed in the leg” when that knee was a solid foot away from her is really something else.

Her handles are so much better than Clark’s - she can get wherever she needs to go on the court because her handles are so good and she changes speeds so well. And her midrange game is a thing of beauty. And she can play without the ball in her hands. Just a complete player. The way she’s taken over so many games late has been a lot of fun to watch.

Ironically, I think Clark is a pretty good passer. But I also think she gets caught up in trying to do too much. And her attitude on the court is absolutely terrible.

This is gonna sound like a defense of Clark and it's not. But I don't understand the people who want her to stand up and be a voice for equality and anti-racism and to stand against MAGA.

They were mad when she went to the Morgan Waller concert. She's a 20-something white girl from Iowa. And she hasn't ever uttered a word about political or social issues. I don't understand this driving need to have her say certain things. Because I really don't think she's built for that AT ALL.

Besides...Paige is already doing that stuff that people are asking for.

I agree for the most part. However, she’s played right into the “she’s a victim of rough play” BS. She could’ve said something to shut down the Alyssa Thomas stuff - that wasn’t even a rough play if you watch it fast. Pure BS. And she could’ve shot down the Republican assholes who wrote a letter to the league about her being a victim. Miles is incredible. So much to fun to watch.

Cunningham has to be setting up a post playing career MAGA grift of some sorts - probably a podcast, and maybe a spot on Fox News.

But with almost a season in the books…..I can’t not question Dallas taking Fudd at #1. And she’s a great shooter and really good defender. Projects as a very good starting 2 guard for a long time. But Olivia Miles??!!! She’s absurdly good. Far and away the best player in that draft. And Paige might be the one player in the league that is great enough, well rounded enough, smart enough, and unselfish enough to basically play the same exact way no matter who she’s in the backcourt with? She can go the 2 and not miss a beat. IMO. They might’ve missed out on the best backcourt of all time and an immediate title contender?

They had the tough OT loss to the Fever where Reese missed the game winning shot off the offensive board. She responds with 21 and 10 as they beat Vegas by 15, and then last night’s game. Love to see the bounce back.

Also, Dallas beat Indiana and Cunningham had 0’s across the board in 15 minutes, lmao.

The crazy thing is, Paige was obviously fouling on purpose, Clark obviously flopped - which makes no sense because Paige was taking a foul! And I think the ref was confused by seeing the flop, and that’s why she didn’t initially call the foul, so Paige kept fouling her until it was called.

Clark’s own spazzy ass flopping that she does constantly is why that all happened like that. And of course she flipped out and threw the ball, with no tech. Big time “talk to your manager” energy from her.

She can at least hoop even if she’s overrated and often acts like an asshole. But Cunningham, and that culture wars fanbase - they’re just the absolute worst. Respect to Mitchell, who is having an incredible season and clearly both shows and gets respect from everybody.
