2813111, 2024 NFL Regular Season Week 17: Netflix and Chill Posted by Dstl1, Wed Dec-25-24 11:00 AM
No preambles, except…hope all you gentlemen and your loved ones are safe and enjoy this day, however you spend it. My inbox is ALWAYS open if any of you ever needs anything at all.
Christmas Day - Netflix If you get the feeling you just saw these teams play one another, well you’d be correct…sorta. Netflix has now dipped a toe in the NFL hot tub to bring back Saturday’s four teams, but on some Wife Swap shit. Speaking of Saturday, those two games outdid the college playoffs in ratings. Silver has to be sick about the NFL invading Christmas. His only solace might be that everybody doesn’t have Netflix, BUT…enough people had Peacock Saturday….and he gotta go up against a Beyoncé halftime show. LOL…I can’t front, I love the NBA…but I’m not even sure who plays today.
Noon: Steelers @ Chiefs
330: Ravens @ Texans
TNF Hawks @ Bears
Saturday
Noon: Chargers @ Pats
330: Broncos @ Bengals
7: Cards @ Rams
Sunday
Early FLEXXXX!!! Time to get flexed, ah!!! The Cowboys loss to the Eagles has been moved to noon, so that more people can see Packer/Vikings. Good job, Rog.
Jets @ Bills
Titans @Jags
Panthers @ Bucs
Raiders @ Saints
Colts @ Giants
Late Fins @ Browns
Pack @ Vikes…Vikes can win the division with wins vs Green Bay and @ Detroit….WOOF!
SNF Falcons @ Commanders
MNF Lions @ Niners: Man Campbell said they will not rest starters, regardless of what happens with Packer/Vikings.

and that means blasting the 49ers out of their own stadium and into the interstellar medium, regardless of the standings
3.5 points seems like free money. im weighing the idea of selling 2 more points and playing DET -5.5

We can beat Baltimore and teams early in the year but late in the season we have been ass vs good teams.

2813120, This netflix streaming isn’t working for me Posted by calij81, Wed Dec-25-24 05:03 PM
It takes me back to the pregame rather than to the live game.

He looks like he might need to sit down for the game
|
2813125, you got to be embarrassed to let Kelce run free at this point Posted by will_5198, Wed Dec-25-24 05:46 PM
dude is running like he has those Eskimo tennis rackets tied to the bottom of his cleats
couldn't even dunk the football over the goalpost
|
2813127, Yah, lol….he gets very little separation anymore… Posted by Dstl1, Wed Dec-25-24 05:50 PM
he’s smart and knows how to find a soft spot and sit down…but to have him just crossing your face and running free, like you said, is wild.
|
2813130, Steelers zone D is trash Posted by legsdiamond, Wed Dec-25-24 06:20 PM
if we get no pressure its pitch and catch
and it seems like every week our DB’s are confused before the snap
I knew the schedule was brutal but Tomlin once again looks unprepared in primetime.
3rd week losing by double digits. smh
|
2813126, MVP is a toss up to me this year Posted by Amritsar, Wed Dec-25-24 05:50 PM
Lamar or Josh. Can’t be mad at it going to either
|
2813128, A defense simply cannot contain everyone when Lamar pinballs around… Posted by Dstl1, Wed Dec-25-24 05:52 PM
for 10 seconds. You’re looking at him, he’s looking at that man that just came open for a split second.

2813138, their OC went from top 5 to not mentioned at all Posted by cgonz00cc, Wed Dec-25-24 08:22 PM
and as one of those goof types who has only ever worked in the NFL without any playing career to speak of, he may never see that level of interest again
|
2813135, Also, Lamar surpassed Vick for all time rushing yards… Posted by Dstl1, Wed Dec-25-24 07:26 PM
In FOURTY ONE fewer games.

2813139, CJ need to get back low this offseason Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Wed Dec-25-24 09:14 PM

|
2813140, yeah he has been bad this season Posted by will_5198, Wed Dec-25-24 09:37 PM
like he "made it" last year and didn't need to worry about getting better
|
2813141, RE: yeah he has been bad this season Posted by jimaveli, Wed Dec-25-24 11:25 PM
>like he "made it" last year and didn't need to worry about >getting better
I want to defend him but he BE missing hella throws. Today was on the verge of brutal. I don’t know exactly what it is but it’s not gonna work. His pockets are at risk of not being straight in a few years if he doesn’t get back on.
|
2813146, He's always been overrated af Posted by guru0509, Thu Dec-26-24 01:59 PM
never won a big game in his entire collegiate career / displayed the "clutch" it factor....and always carried himself with this above all else, holier than thou attitude, better than everyone attitude..
i get killed by buckeye fans for saying it but i dont have to like every single player that ever donned the s&G
|
2813149, Teddy Bridgewater unretiring after HS title, signing with Lionsl Posted by guru0509, Thu Dec-26-24 02:58 PM
QUite a year lol, from holding a clipboard to..well holding a clipboard but getting paid way more
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/43169877/source-teddy-bridgewater-unretiring-expected-sign-lions
|
2813157, that would be cool as shit if he stayed at the HS level Posted by cgonz00cc, Thu Dec-26-24 06:50 PM
article says coaching in the NFL is on his mind, but he could have a bigger impact on the game as a whole in hs imo
|
2813172, That final Bears drive was a clinic on coaching malpractice Posted by calij81, Thu Dec-26-24 11:21 PM
Terrible use of timeouts
Poor clock management
Bad play calling on the last 4 downs for the Bears
Decent drive that should have at least ended with a 50+ FG attempt ends in a pick
Deciding to go for it on 4th down rather than kicking a FG down by 3 was a choice
Lots of punts, the rookie punter might be the best and most productive player from this bears draft class
That punter went from punting at Iowa to punting at Chicago, which means, his leg is about to be done before his rookie contract is up
|
2813173, If yesterday was Netflix and Chill, tonight was Amazon and Bored Posted by calij81, Thu Dec-26-24 11:23 PM

2813217, feel bad for my guy Mayo Posted by will_5198, Sun Dec-29-24 12:29 PM
Bill left him a team that would struggle to cross a picket line during a player strike, but he has not been inspiring
he can always come back home and be Tennessee's defensive coordinator
|
2813218, Colts pissing their shot away in spectacular fashion Posted by cgonz00cc, Sun Dec-29-24 02:10 PM
a must win against the worst team in the league and already down 15

2813222, dont see how Steichen survives this Posted by cgonz00cc, Sun Dec-29-24 03:59 PM

2813230, *excited gif* Posted by will_5198, Sun Dec-29-24 10:32 PM
need the entire house deep cleaned. starting with Ballard.
|
2813219, Pickett getting lit up today Posted by Amritsar, Sun Dec-29-24 03:05 PM
He was Playing well too
|
2813220, Jeez, Johnathan….dude could have turned around… Posted by Dstl1, Sun Dec-29-24 03:34 PM
and moonwalked into the end zone. Be wild if they lose by that margin.
|
2813221, We got 40’d by Kenny Pickett and a dude who probably has… Posted by Dstl1, Sun Dec-29-24 03:40 PM
an Amazon shift tomorrow, PLUS Barkley got 2000 and counting…and, Bitch I love it (c)
|
2813223, They gone get Steichen (sp?) the fuck outta there Posted by Dstl1, Sun Dec-29-24 04:06 PM
.
|
2813229, have to. how do you sell an effort like that to season ticket holders? Posted by cgonz00cc, Sun Dec-29-24 09:44 PM
they're gonna show up anyways bc its the NFL, but do want them holding up their index fingers for the camera, or their middles...with bags on their heads, bc theyre embarrassed to live in the same state as this clown franchise where its okay to phone in the biggest game of the season?
really really pathetic from everyone except Taylor and some of his blockers, and the entire secondary gotta go.
|
2813231, great loss if it gets him and Ballard fired Posted by will_5198, Sun Dec-29-24 10:43 PM
and honestly, this core group of players doesn't have it. folding down the stretch every single time they have their playoff fates in their hands is the mark of a team devoid of leadership and balls.
|
2813224, Dolphins without Tua and Waddle, can still make the playoffs, IF… Posted by Dstl1, Sun Dec-29-24 04:13 PM
they win their last 2 games and Broncos lose to KC…..welp, sorry, Miami…Chiefs have absolutely nothing to play for and are resting their starters.
|
2813241, RE: Dolphins without Tua and Waddle, can still make the playoffs, IF… Posted by go mack, Mon Dec-30-24 02:57 PM
Some are holding hope for Bengals who need both Broncos to lose as well as Dolphins to the fucking Jets. That seems even more hopeless. I would love Chiefs 2nd string to stop Sean Payton however, probably unlikely tho.
|
2813227, What a job by Brian Flores today Posted by Amritsar, Sun Dec-29-24 06:42 PM
And all year long of course
When it’s third and long against this D it’s already over
|
2813228, GB should've kicked a FG on 2nd & 5 with 3:30 left Posted by cgonz00cc, Sun Dec-29-24 07:22 PM
ive spent an incredible amount of time in my life considering that scenario, and im willing to die on that hill
|
2813232, Did my man Ra not realize they had TWO timeouts??? Rough. Posted by Dstl1, Mon Dec-30-24 09:24 AM

2813240, bad stuff. no excuse, really. Posted by will_5198, Mon Dec-30-24 12:57 PM
|
2813247, i never thought we'd miss Alex Anzalone Posted by cgonz00cc, Mon Dec-30-24 10:31 PM
he was having the best season of his career, and all the Lions problems stem from disorganized LBs
Jack Campbell is real good, but not ready to carry 10 day partners
|
2813251, We went from 0-16 to 14-2 , 8-0 on the road Posted by guru0509, Tue Dec-31-24 10:04 AM
OKS need a king of the lions fans cameo badly
>he was having the best season of his career, and all the >Lions problems stem from disorganized LBs > >Jack Campbell is real good, but not ready to carry 10 day >partners
|
2813248, Bye bye Jake moody Posted by Amritsar, Mon Dec-30-24 10:33 PM

2813249, 3rd round pick Posted by will_5198, Mon Dec-30-24 10:52 PM
very crazy stuff
|
2813274, I'm lowkey mad at the Falcons, proud of the Eagles Posted by Dr Claw, Tue Dec-31-24 01:42 PM
because I'm not gonna lie, I still knew that even with no CeeDee, the Cowboys defense still exists. And not having Jalen to manage the drives was gonna be rough with a whole game of Pickett.
Eagles defense set the tone early, Pickett (to his credit) was responsible for multiple drive extending throws (despite looking like some ass before then), got the shit beat out of him by the Cowboys D... and opened up the game for later. Cowboys let up on the box stacking after those throws.
That being said, I prefer the mechanics of Tanner McKee (who definitely got the team going). Hope he gets the start vs Giants.
I wanted the Commanders Round 3, we gonna get Green Bay. Aight.
|
2813277, I know Kenny played with broken ribs Posted by legsdiamond, Tue Dec-31-24 02:20 PM
but that dude is kinda fragile.
This was his chance to make a little noise and watch McKee steal the show next week.
