and for the record, the Spurs should and absolutely will take Wembanyama first, but I'm curious how he'll function defensively as the game is getting smaller and faster in recent years. I'm thinking similar to how Rudy Gobert has been rendered useless come playoff time because he can't keep up with smaller and faster line-ups.

I have to imagine Pop and the Spurs coaching staff will have that in mind when developing and playing Wembanyama though.
