after growing up as a Cardinal fan in the 80's/90's when we had a ton of black players to having none I have high hopes for Jordan Walker. And actually pitcher Jack Flaherty is biracial and identifies as black but almost nobody knows because he's clean-haven and wears his hear short most people think he's white. I didn't know until he spoke out about it a couple of years ago in Jackie Robinson Day he said something to the effect of "WE as African-American players need to get more African American youth playing baseball" I was like "whoa!" and had to google his background lol...
