The nothingness of the game is where you found out a lot about
baseball, and real baseball fans know what that is.

You don’t and didn’t watch football for that experience…but you do with
baseball.

Ken Griffey in the swing area, removes the donuts, slowly comes up
to the plate and stares down the pitcher, the pitcher stares back….
Griffey scans the outfield and gets into his stance…The pitcher looks
off a pitch, agrees with a sign and then gets into his wind up and delivers
a fastball…CRACK!! Griffey blasts one over the wall for a homer!

It’s the build up to the play and the play itself that makes it baseball.

Baseball is a turtle that’s not meant to be a rabbit or a cheetah….

and people are starting to realize that difference…
