you're talking about the final out in a tournament between two of the games biggest stars who are usually teammates. I'm ok if we missed out on a couple minutes of tension of guys walking around or messing with their gloves if it can save me 20+hours over the course of a season.
>One thing critics mentioned on ESPN is that during the WBC the matchup between Trout and Ohtani went well past the current time rule because there was no pitch clock in that tournament….the current pitch clock would have killed the beautiful tension and drama that played out during that moment. That’s one thing that has been pen pointed because those stars have to be showcased and there can’t be any interruption with that.
