Jacque Vaughn was literally the head coach of the Nets before Nash got hired. He was the interim coach right after Kenny Atkinson got canned those years ago when Durant and Kyrie arrived.

Just think of how much time was wasted having Nash coach that squad when the solution to the Nets underperforming was already under their noses.

So wild dude had to be an assistant to Nash all those years.
