I’ve stated clearly that I believe GA should be #1. Not bc they beat Michigan and won the National title last year, but bc they are the best team in the country this year…period. With a win over LSU next week, their body of work is stronger than Michigan’s. Are you trying to tell me that I’m only choosing to rank GA ahead of Michigan bc of last year?

Popularity contest? Wtf are you talking about? Michigan is more popular than UGA and their popularity has been a big reason why their ranking is so often inflated (not this year though) in the polls. Popularity is how Notre Dame often gets inflated rankings too. CFB has historically been a popularity contest. At least 4 teams get a crack at the title and chance to prove it on the field.
