2776509, The tunnel is just a troll move now
Posted by Ceej, Sat Nov-19-22 01:56 PM
Everyone gets to complain about it
2776510, or maybe its like...an actual problem?
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-19-22 01:58 PM
2776513, It’s an easy situation that they refuse to address in pregame
Posted by Ceej, Sat Nov-19-22 02:20 PM
No one is in control or knows what’s happening.
2776514, right so thats why i was confused about your trolling comment

Illinois let’s rock!
2776508, It’s unfortunate that the Pac12 is finally getting its house in order
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-19-22 01:47 PM
At the same time it is about to fall apart.
2776511, yep very true
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-19-22 01:58 PM
2776512, If somehow the UC Regents can keep ucla from going to the Big Infiniten
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-19-22 02:19 PM
Perhaps it can maintain itself by replacing USC with SDSU and Fresno State. Isolate USC on an island and see what happens.

It’s obviously a long shot of the UC Regents keeping UCLA but we will find out on December 14th.
2776531, would be funny if we lost the sc/ucla rivalry
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-19-22 03:30 PM
>Perhaps it can maintain itself by replacing USC with SDSU and
>Fresno State. Isolate USC on an island and see what happens.

like lets see how badly we can fuck up cfb
2776544, their champ deserves to play for the NC

2776516, cant even remember the last time mich had to play from behind
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-19-22 02:38 PM
will be interesting to see if McCarthy can make some plays here
2776535, he did great!
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-19-22 03:38 PM
>will be interesting to see if McCarthy can make some plays
>here
2776541, that was... disheartening
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Nov-19-22 03:53 PM
he got hurt by numerous drops too, but fuck.

he can make every NFL throw, but the TE breaking to the corner at the end is an NFL read. he missed it.
2776551, Missed a couple more too
Posted by Ceej, Sat Nov-19-22 04:21 PM
Not even gonna dwell now tho. It’s over and I want a drink
2776557, sure did.
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Nov-19-22 05:26 PM
altho i do think the one deep shot to the left side of the field was on anthony looking to the wrong shoulder

but youre right. its a W
2776518, I hated those Illinois helmets when they first issued them.
Posted by allStah, Sat Nov-19-22 02:49 PM
Now I love them…

Those corners ain’t bullshitting…they hard and man up…that whole secondary
going to the NFL
2776519, Of course Baylor goes conservative and leaves time.
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-19-22 03:06 PM
Hate when teams do that. Waste maybe ten seconds off the clock.
2776521, TCU was actively trying to lose that game at the end
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-19-22 03:11 PM
lol at that last series of plays, running twice with no timeouts and sending on the field goal team with 9 seconds left and a running clock
2776524, Baylor coach said *hold my beer*
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-19-22 03:15 PM
I cannot believe his ultra conservative waste ten seconds off the clock and give the ball right back approach
2776525, The first run, okay I could see it. The second run was inexcusable
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-19-22 03:18 PM
I can’t believe the TCU FG kicker made that kick.
2776526, Dykes went mental
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-19-22 03:20 PM
don't forget they *spiked* the ball on 2nd down, so he realized they had no timeouts

so WTF would you run *again* on third down when you cannot stop the clock? if you want to run twice with no timeouts you do it on 1st and 2nd down, then spike it on 3rd down so the field goal team can get on

kick was good with no time left, so maybe he just has a bigger brain than me...
2776527, He just got lucky brain there
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-19-22 03:23 PM
I can see running on first or second to get some yards, kill some more time, and maybe catch Baylor sleeping and maybe you spring a big run.

Like you said, after clocking it on on 2nd down you have to pass the ball there.

It’s crazy that Dykes, an air raid guy who is criticized for throwing too much decided to run it on 1st and 3rd and not even pass the ball once on that final set of downs.
2776553, Especially after dude missed an extra point
Posted by Ceej, Sat Nov-19-22 04:24 PM
But maybe the not having time to think about things helped.

2776520, Dumb coaching by Baylor
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-19-22 03:11 PM
Didnt even really attempt to get a first down and get more time off the clock.
2776523, WTF, McCarthy literally looked at a wide open guy in the end-zone
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-19-22 03:14 PM
and said nah, time for a dump-off
2776532, What’s the game below checkers?
Posted by Ceej, Sat Nov-19-22 03:34 PM
2776534, rock paper scissors

2776528, Mertz is such trash at QB
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-19-22 03:26 PM
Even winning the game on that final drive doesn’t excuse his terrible performance today.

Nebraska is in a deep and dark place as a program right now. Now Nebraska has both ucla and USC rotating on their schedule in the next few years so it is about to get even harder for them.
2776529, That call was BS!
Posted by allStah, Sat Nov-19-22 03:27 PM
Refs saved their asses…

Well the world knows Michigan isn’t PO worthy…bum ass squad and state.
2776530, Vandy beats Florida and the refs
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-19-22 03:29 PM
Florida caught a ball in-bounds, marked short of the first down marker, with 2 seconds left and no timeouts...clock should have ran out

refs inexplicably stop the clock and give them another play for no reason

fortunately for everyone Richardson air-mailed it over the end-zone

first win against the Gators in Nashville in 34 years
2776533, Poor guys
Posted by Ceej, Sat Nov-19-22 03:35 PM
Almost tho.
2776536, I really dont want to see TCU or Mich make the playoffs.
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-19-22 03:38 PM
2776537, Bet u love a 48 team tournament tho don’t u
Posted by Ceej, Sat Nov-19-22 03:44 PM
2776538, Long as that tournament doesnt have another overrated Michigan
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-19-22 03:50 PM
So we dont have to watch them get beatdown for the millionth time
2776539, Understandable
Posted by Ceej, Sat Nov-19-22 03:52 PM
2776548, to be fair they've only received one playoff beating
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-19-22 04:16 PM
>So we dont have to watch them get beatdown for the millionth
>time
2776552, Saying outlandish things not based on facts doesnt deserve real rebuttal
Posted by Ceej, Sat Nov-19-22 04:22 PM
2776555, I’ll take a win anyway I can get it
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-19-22 04:45 PM
2776546, it really is a wonderful feeling
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Nov-19-22 04:01 PM
to have an absolute cyborg of a kicker. no emotion, no variance, no failure.

it was the only wonderful feeling of the day, but that it was. everytime GT was humming under PJ we had one too, and ill swear until i die that the Lions never would have made the playoffs my whole life without Jason Hanson.
2776558, Bijan cold

2776561, This Maryland vs OSU game is entertaining.
Posted by Mignight Maruder, Sat Nov-19-22 06:50 PM
I’ve only watched the 2nd half, but damn, this is fun to watch. Completely different Maryland team this week at home. The 4 pt swing on OSU’s last TD was ridiculous.
2776568, Win or lose, I really like those Tennessee helmets
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-19-22 09:23 PM
2776579, I don't think we'll see those for a while...
Posted by will_5198, Sun Nov-20-22 12:19 AM
2776582, Tennessee was the best looking team to give up 63 points this season
Posted by calij81, Sun Nov-20-22 01:06 AM
2776570, Fuck Andrew Luck, fuck Peter Thiel, fuck Tiger Woods, fuck Josh Hawley

Fuck Elon “space Karen” Musk, fuck Elizabeth Holmes, fuck Condoleezza Rice, certainly fuck Herbert Hoover, fuck Mitt Romney, fuck Jim Harbaugh, fuck David Shaw, and fuck you to if you went to Stanford university.

Fuck Stanford from today to infinity. In a shit stain of a season we still wiped our asses with your shitty uniforms, with your shitty program and even shittier school.

Big Game bitches!

WHOES AXE!?!?! OUR AXE!!!!

Go Bears!
2776571, LOL

Posted by ThaTruth, Sun Nov-20-22 11:11 AM
went to Stanford and I live in MO, hate that dude
2776572, God damn! Everything fell apart for Tennessee today.
Posted by allStah, Sat Nov-19-22 10:38 PM
Hooker might have torn his ACL..wow.

Bama is going to Fock around and get into the POs.

I think Georgia can be beaten…..their offense isn’t all that …
2776573, Ucla QB cold
Posted by MEAT, Sat Nov-19-22 10:45 PM
2776577, that meltdown at the end of the first half cost them the game tho
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Nov-20-22 12:00 AM
2776574, USC would have a losing record w/o Caleb Williams
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Nov-19-22 11:31 PM
this dude is fucking unreal

the ball placement, vision and velocity on the move is insane
2776575, Bad decision by him to pass the ball rather than run it on 2nd down there
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-19-22 11:33 PM
2776576, he's pretty special
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-19-22 11:59 PM
would like to see him go up against some legit defenses but i dont wanna hate on the kid for that
2776578, FIRE WILLIE MARTINEZ (c) Firebrand
Posted by will_5198, Sun Nov-20-22 12:18 AM
Tennessee's secondary has been one of the worst in the nation and it finally killed them against an average team.

I don't understand what DC Tim Banks and Martinez (CBs) are even coaching back there. the players are limited but they are getting worse as the season goes on. for example: 3rd and 8, both corners are in off-man even with the first down marker, at the snap they go straight into their backpedal, and South Carolina converts an 8-yard hitch that Rattler could've thrown underhand. how are they going to stop the third down there, based on that alignment and technique?

it was nice not to see Kamal Hadden for a month. having him back as a starting corner, giving up yards on every single target and talking shit *after* giving up said yards was an experience I was enjoying not seeing. my current most disliked player on Tennessee.

tough to see Hooker go down like that, though. Vol legend no matter what.
2776580, weekly Miami car burning update:
Posted by will_5198, Sun Nov-20-22 12:23 AM
they had 98 yards of total offense against Clemson

very hard to do at the P5 level
2776581, I saw that yardage stat and thought it was a mistake or I misread it
Posted by calij81, Sun Nov-20-22 01:04 AM
Cristobal is in over his head. He should’ve stayed at Oregon where things were set up nicely for him to win 9-11 games a season.
2776671, Cristobal plays too conservative
Posted by The Real, Mon Nov-21-22 11:18 AM

IMO, that would be a bad move on his part.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2776673, maybe, maybe not
Posted by cgonz00cc, Mon Nov-21-22 11:33 AM
GT is usually a bad move for any coach tbh

but Deion aint getting the leeway and freedom he could get at GT anywhere else for his first FBS job

the Atlanta hero coming home will play with donors and fans in a very big way, and in turn our recent ineptitude is likely to give him a very accommodating and hands-off work environment to do what he does
2776596, Duke's only losses have come in end-game situations.
Posted by Frank Longo, Sun Nov-20-22 12:42 PM
And they have seven wins. SEVEN.

Like, Elko has exceeded my wiiiiiiildest expectations. This was a school expected to easily finish last in the Coastal... currently tied for second in the Coastal. A pretty unreal season.
2776600, this would have been an epic year for a traditional Rose Bowl
