... I mean, I have *some* idea, it's the guards' love of chucking up terrible shots, but, like... last year, Bacot was in KenPom's top 10 most efficient players in the country.
This year, they've given him a grand total of zero additional shots per game. In an ACC where the big men are worse than maybe they've ever been.
Like, UNC has been good for one month in the Hubert Davis era. I know he's got some serious runway due to the victories over K and the miracle tournament run, but... I've gotta think UNC fans are starting to wonder about Hubert. The faith last March built up seems to have pretty quickly dissipated.
Now, can they beat Duke in Carolina, get the only Quad 1 win they have, giving the committee justification to put them into the First Four in Dayton, and they go on a Sweet 16 run because the guards get hot at the right time again? Of course. So I'm not partying.
... but I have very real questions about Hubert as a coach.
