Like, Virginia has a much, much better resume. That one should be a given. 4 losses, all Quad 1. Harder strength of schedule. etc.

NC State has a comparable strength of schedule to Pitt, same number of losses... but State's worst loss is at home to Pitt. Pitt's got losses to VCU, Vanderbilt, at home to Clemson... and yeah, losing *at home* to FSU in the last three weeks, voters aren't gonna forget that, lol.

I get that Pitt beat both NC State and UVA... but, as you said, those types of things happen time to time. The body of work for both UVA and State is better than Pitt's.

(Also, State shouldn't be ranked imo, lol. ACC should have UVA ranked and that's it.)
