In retrospect, maybe I should've seen this one coming, because Alabama shoots more 3s than most any high-major team... and Oklahoma is one of the most effective defenses at running teams off the line.
Oklahoma might not be a tourney team, but they're top 40 in KenPom, took Kansas, Baylor, Iowa State, Texas all down to the wire-- and that's without significant high-level talent on that roster. Porter Moser's a fucking hell of a coach.
The SEC feels down. Tennessee and Alabama are both title contenders, but Kentucky and Arkansas are underperforming, Florida, Miss St and LSU are all *way* underperforming, Auburn has a grand total of no truly good wins, Texas A&M feels fraudulent-- outside of the top two, Mizzou (who looks awesome), and Georgia (for whom competence is a massive upgrade), there's just nothing to write home about in this conference.
Feels a full step behind the best three conferences (Big 12, Big East, Big 10), even if it has more title contenders than the Big 10.
