2778716, Arizona was tougher and more skilled against Tennessee Posted by will_5198, Sun Dec-18-22 12:47 AM
nice little revenge game for them after last year and Tubelis is a problem.
Vols need Vescovi to find his stroke again -- he's shooting 10 percent worse from three than last year and went 1-7 tonight (1-9 against Maryland last week).
not having Josiah Jordan-James is hurting too; he's not even a good shooter (sub 40 percent from the field for his career) but he would be an upgrade over the offensive black hole* that is freshman five-star Julian Phillips.
*against teams that can defend. Phillips is Tennessee's leading scorer for the season but that's only due to his numbers against the soft part of the schedule. he was 0-5 against Arizona, 1-10 against Maryland, 2-7 against Kansas and 1-6 against Colorado. lots of potential but his shot is flat and he misses all sorts of bunnies.
