It’s gonna bring some weight to the lazy meathead ‘Irsay owns the team. He can do what he wants’ thing. You know how it is. Some rich folks can do whatever. Others can never do enough.
It’s a shit hire that was handled in a shit way. That is, it’s shit if the ‘normal’ nfl hiring approach is supposed to be the best practice. If I’m a long-time assistant who wants a head coaching job, I’m PISSED.
