2775605, CFB Week 10: The SEC Playoffs
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Nov-05-22 08:34 AM
We got some heavyweights today yall hope the games live up to the billing

UGA/Tennessee at 3:30
Bama/LSU at 7
2775613, VOLS
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-05-22 09:18 AM
Tennessee will have to the secondary out and hit all their splash plays, because the Georgia defense will be tough in the red-zone (only given up 4 TD in 14 trips)

honestly concerned about the Georgia tight ends against Tennessee's safeties and corners, there could be a lot of 7-yard passes with 20 yards extra after the catch

whatever though, UT back on top to even be in these types of games
2775621, Ryan Day is a bum
Posted by guru0509, Sat Nov-05-22 01:04 PM
This dude has huuuge glaring red flags as a head coach
2775627, the run game is frightening
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-05-22 02:48 PM
at least they got CJ involved in the run game today.

he has more than enough speed to be effective.
2775643, 12 players missing , I should be more forgiving but idk
Posted by guru0509, Sat Nov-05-22 03:55 PM
I just expect us to beat the daylights out of shitty teams (ie ND and NW)

His play calling is baffling st times

>at least they got CJ involved in the run game today.
>
>he has more than enough speed to be effective.
2775648, aside from henderson the personnel was intact to run the ball
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-05-22 04:59 PM
no excuses. 3 weeks in a row now the run game has sputtered.
2775631, I take great pleasure in watching the dumpster fire that is aTm football
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 03:17 PM
2775639, I love it!
Posted by tariqhu, Sat Nov-05-22 03:37 PM
2775649, its fun
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-05-22 05:00 PM
but the joke will be on us when jimbo takes home that buyout to no longer coach
2775633, Wow that was so obviously a safety
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Nov-05-22 03:21 PM
I want Tennessee to win but the refs throw them a major bone there
2775637, right? refs just throw the rules book out when it comes to safeties
Posted by legsdiamond, Sat Nov-05-22 03:32 PM
2775634, everytime I hear Ladd Mcconkey name I chuckle
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Nov-05-22 03:23 PM
2775635, Vols looking shook early.. need to calm down
Posted by legsdiamond, Sat Nov-05-22 03:29 PM
2775636, vols looking real pedestrian right now.
Posted by tariqhu, Sat Nov-05-22 03:30 PM
2775640, its a lot to have to beat Alabama AND Georgia
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Nov-05-22 03:43 PM
and Georgia look tuned as fuck today
2775641, UGA was ready for today.
Posted by tariqhu, Sat Nov-05-22 03:50 PM
2775638, Vols imploding on special teams
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-05-22 03:35 PM
horrible unforced errors

secondary is bad but they have been bad the whole year

offense looking afraid to make a mistake

not easy being the hunted
2775642, Georgia inviting these throws to the tight end
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-05-22 03:52 PM
Tennessee has to win with their receiver, their tight ends are not built to win against UGA safeties
2775644, Vols D might be settling in now.
Posted by tariqhu, Sat Nov-05-22 03:58 PM
2775645, never mind.
Posted by tariqhu, Sat Nov-05-22 04:15 PM
2775646, The mailman came to deliver the mail today
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 04:21 PM
2775664, little Baker Mayfield mfer
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-05-22 07:51 PM
2775650, i see no reason why the uga/oregon outcome would be any different today
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-05-22 05:05 PM
2775657, Game plan: don’t give Hooker time to throw!
Posted by allStah, Sat Nov-05-22 06:08 PM
Blitz every down.

OL was shook out their minds!

How many false starts did they have?
2775658, Liberty beats Arkansas
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 06:53 PM
2775662, I really thought Arkansas would be better this year.
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-05-22 07:31 PM
2775717, Have to think freeze is at Auburn next year
Posted by dillinjah, Sun Nov-06-22 02:39 AM
2775659, Bama looking terrible right now.
Posted by tariqhu, Sat Nov-05-22 07:02 PM
Young is not on it after that end zone pick.
2775661, Outside of Gibbs they are just not special anywhere on offense
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Nov-05-22 07:21 PM
And Gibbs isn’t foundational special like Henry. He’s more like the cherry on top.
2775663, that was Kirby's show
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-05-22 07:50 PM
he made sure to remind everyone he's the SEC head coach with the most recent title ring and best defenses

he game-planned the fuck out of Heupel
2775665, Kansas is bowling
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-05-22 07:52 PM
2775667, Brian Kelly really is ahead of schedule. Damn
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-05-22 08:43 PM
These boys are PLAYING
2775668, Meanwhile, Clemson getting stomped by Notre Dame
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-05-22 08:50 PM
Clemson gotta switch QBs for good if this finishes as a blowout.
2775670, dabo never gonna let DJ go
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-05-22 08:53 PM
2775671, he puts him back in and throws a pick 6!
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-05-22 08:58 PM
lollll
2775674, It's bizarre how bad he is.
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-05-22 09:00 PM
I remember thinking he was a sure thing after he came in for Trevor Lawrence a couple years ago and had a huge game. He was super hyped coming out of high school as well.
2775677, That big game was at Notre Dame so we have come full circle
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 09:05 PM
I am also shocked at how aggressively mediocre he is at QB.
2775679, that part
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-05-22 09:06 PM
I don't think anyone that saw him play at Notre Dame two years ago could have predicted this
2775684, Nope, not at all. I vaguely remember some people saying that Dabo
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 09:25 PM
Should consider replacing Lawrence with DJ that season, that’s how good DJ looked while starting for an injured Lawrence.
2775705, i think people severely overrated his performance in that start
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-05-22 10:24 PM
and felt that at the time
2775672, they should've never put him back in after the last game
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Nov-05-22 08:59 PM
2775669, I vaguely recall a ND/Clemson debate earlier in the season lol
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-05-22 08:50 PM
2775673, Dabos got a broken Ukulele and a small white boy at QB
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 09:00 PM
Dabo ain’t got a QB.
2775678, Golden!!!
Posted by allStah, Sat Nov-05-22 09:05 PM
Smashing the Fock out of Clemson!

God damn!

I apologize. I was hating on Marcus Freeman big time, but
damn ND has looked unbelievable these past few weeks…

and he got some serious talent coming in.

Notre Dame would beat the shit out of OSU if they played right now.
2775681, ND lost to stanford just 3 weeks ago
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-05-22 09:09 PM
clemson is just awful
2775686, At least he is consistent in his hot bad takes
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 09:26 PM
OSU would still best ND today. I am happy for MF.
2775680, Miami has 50 yards passing in the third quarter against FSU
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-05-22 09:09 PM
2775718, Bro, I expected UF to struggle. Canes?
Posted by dillinjah, Sun Nov-06-22 02:42 AM
I’m shocked. This kind of L has serious ramifications
2775735, Cristobal got a lot of bread…
Posted by Dstl1, Sun Nov-06-22 12:12 PM
to be out here having the team looking like it’s taken a step backwards.
2775682, CFB Playoff: Georgia is in
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-05-22 09:18 PM
defending champ and even if they lose in the SEC Championship, they will make it (hell, precedent is last year)

Ohio State/Michigan winner is in

Clemson is out

TCU lurking, although they have a tough final stretch and hard to see them emerge without a single loss

nobody wants to see Oregon-Georgia again so I'm going to say they are out, USC has a better shot

I'd say Tennessee is out since they won't even win their division, but it will be interesting to see what the Ohio State/Michigan loser vs non-Georgia SEC Championship winner vs 1-loss Pac-12/Big 12 conference champions arguments are
2775691, sc wont have a better shot if they dont beat oregon
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Nov-05-22 09:37 PM

>nobody wants to see Oregon-Georgia again so I'm going to say
>they are out, USC has a better shot

and as it stands i have sc losing to ucla and possibly to ND as well.

the oregon/uga rematch conundrum is interesting. the easy solution is to just slide oregon into the #3 spot to square off vs the big 10 winner. big 12 gets the #4 seed. and both semifinals games will be the first round blowouts we've come to know and love.
2775692, You don't think if UGA wins in the SECCG that UT would qualify?
Posted by obsidianchrysalis, Sat Nov-05-22 09:37 PM
At that point, for the playoff, you'd have UGA, the B1G champ, either USC or Oregon, and possibly TCU (presuming they win out).

UT would have the 1 loss, but they'd have better wins the either USC, and Oregon. Plus OU has that awful loss in the first game to UGA. Also, UT would have the H2H with UA (that is if they win tonight against LSU).

Now, Alabama has a chance to make a statement against Ol' Miss next week if they can win with some style points. But, if the number of losses between UT and UA is equal and the Committee has Alabama fatigue, Tennessee could be the 4th seed.

2775720, Tenn over a conf champ oregon?
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Nov-06-22 09:11 AM
Nah no way
2775693, I don't see how you keep a 1-loss Oregon out
Posted by woodsen2, Sat Nov-05-22 09:42 PM
They'd have late season wins over Utah and USC and a conference title. That's a better resume than a Michigan/OSU loser.

Tennessee is probably screwed cause they play three bad teams to end the year.
2775696, Oregon doesn’t play USC in the regular season
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 09:49 PM
You could have a potential Pac12 championship game of 11-1 Oregon versus 11-1 USC. That winner is getting into the CFB playoffs, it’s just a question of if they are seeded at 3 or 4.
2775697, Yeah, I assumed USC gets to the title game
Posted by woodsen2, Sat Nov-05-22 09:58 PM
2775701, Gotcha, I read that sentence as Oregon getting regular season wins
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 10:16 PM
Against Utah and USC and a conference championship win as 3 wins and not 2
2775683, Young just made a hell of a play!
Posted by tariqhu, Sat Nov-05-22 09:25 PM
come on defense!
2775685, Notre Dame with the official GUILE. Dabo wept.
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-05-22 09:25 PM
2775688, SMU 70, Houston 56
Posted by will_5198, Sat Nov-05-22 09:32 PM
there are 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter!

SMU quarterback has 9 touchdowns, Houston's has 7
2775689, Basketball scores. Lmao. Jesus.
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sat Nov-05-22 09:34 PM
2775694, The NFL Network is carrying this game for some reason?
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 09:43 PM
I’ve been low key following this since halftime when it looked like the final score could be 72-65 with no OT.
2775690, that didn't last long.
Posted by tariqhu, Sat Nov-05-22 09:36 PM
LSU is much better than I thought, but Bama is just average team this year. never thought they'd have trouble scoring.
2775698, Brian Kelly coaching em up
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Sat Nov-05-22 10:06 PM
2775699, he got them a good win.
Posted by tariqhu, Sat Nov-05-22 10:10 PM
2775703, I’m surprised Jayden Daniels is playing this well
Posted by calij81, Sat Nov-05-22 10:18 PM
He wasn’t nearly this good at ASU and against Pac12 defenses. Daniels always had talent but was so inconsistent.
2775715, ive stayed up late to watch the pac 12 a lot this year
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sun Nov-06-22 01:33 AM
and its been fun

aside from the entertainment value of teams trying to score a point a minute, it hits the nostalgia sweet spot of staying up late to watch something weird.

when we were kids you could see any manner of random fuckery on TV after 11pm, especially the secondary syndication networks (20, 38, 50 in detroit). then in high school we stayed up late to watch E! or some "Real Sex" bullshit or Blind Date.

i dont know if thats really a thing anymore
2775725, I love pac after dark. Afraid it wont ever be the same without usc/ucla
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Nov-06-22 10:38 AM
and the uncertainty of the Pac 12 as a whole

> then in high school we
>stayed up late to watch E! or some "Real Sex" bullshit or
>Blind Date.
>
>i dont know if thats really a thing anymore

late night on E! was the shit especially if you were a stern fan back in the day. ya I dunno if kids get down with reruns like that anymore.

I feel like dating app vids on tik tok have supplanted actual dating shows. it's a new world.
2775737, i honestly keep forgetting thats happening
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sun Nov-06-22 12:56 PM
and every time i remember i smh at it again

Stern, Talk Soup, and Night Stand w Dick Dietrich was classic teenage late night tv
2775761, shiiiit haven't thought about that show in forever haha
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sun Nov-06-22 04:18 PM
> Night Stand w Dick Dietrich was classic
>teenage late night tv
2775738, I learned about Marshall Faulk at San Diego State
Posted by legsdiamond, Sun Nov-06-22 01:01 PM

2775913, New rankings
Posted by Ceej, Tue Nov-08-22 07:27 PM
Still irrelevant.
2775915, have fun making a case for even 3 teams this year
Posted by 3xKrazy, Tue Nov-08-22 08:44 PM
lol
