2774920, Bucs are gonna win this game outright

it's just so Brady to bounce back huge after looking like such shit and getting it poured on like this

>it's just so Brady to bounce back huge after looking like
>such shit and getting it poured on like this

That oline is bad now, right? And the receivers are mostly hurting. And Lenny is not on his Playoff Lenny steez right now.

And I don't know if its too 'narrative' or not, but it sure does seem like Brady is not 'on it' all the way like he's been tagged as being historically. And kinda like Herd constantly says, if your whole thing is 'I'm focused, man', you have to keep being that. And you can't fake that. At all. Either you are or you aren't. And how locked in could he be with all that's going on? If he really tried to pull a move and get to Miami and got caught? If he's really going through a divorce? If he's really messing around with those red folks? If he's really fighting in the background with Tampa?
2774941, you're so spot on about Brady. It's bizarre
Posted by Tiger Woods, Thu Oct-27-22 11:18 AM

he's Mr.Football Hardon , now he's skipping practices for friends' weddings and disappearing during training camp

imagine if Kobe had taken a 2 game sabbatical to film a cameo in a Judd Apatow movie

Seems like a reasonable tire kick move for KC to make.

Toney sure does seem to be hurt a lot, but when a team is out on a wr so fast, I wonder if he's hurt for real or if there was some kind of 'we're trying to get rid of you, homie' drama.

Being fast and open all the time is cool tho. And doing that with Andy and Pat is big money waiting to happen. So shiiiiiid, if he's gonna act right ever anywhere, this would be the time and place to damn well do it!

I want to believe we're getting about half a dozen more skill position trades at some point in the next few days. There's entirely too many teams with needs and too many other teams with people they hate for whatever reason. We'll see!
2774976, this is where I'm at...
Posted by Dstl1, Thu Oct-27-22 04:02 PM
it's gotta be more than just health for the Giants to throw a 23 year old, super athlete in the trash. Andy nem' bout to revive that boy.
2774984, Giants WR play is horrific
Posted by DJR, Thu Oct-27-22 07:57 PM
I’m going to be mad as shit if he pops in KC.

2774975, I'll take it
Posted by Ashy Achilles, Thu Oct-27-22 03:59 PM
We have lots of picks left for next year

It's great if he is able to get healthy

No harm if not
2774983, I'm partial to him from UF. Honestly hope he stays healthy

>will be out 4-6 weeks and possible IR. Ugh!

Boo! Hiss! Boo! The damn Cincinattis can't help themselves. Always something going wrong in some way.

At least their WR room isn't exactly empty. But they were just starting to heat up again. Maybe they can look their linemen and Mixon in the face, do some cussing, and get that part of their game rolling for a while.
2774978, Someone leaked it on reddit in the morning
Posted by mista k5, Thu Oct-27-22 05:16 PM
"A friend of a friend supposedly works at the Cinci hospital." He did say out for rest of season, I guess it's close enough.

I imagine Bengals will be okay especially if he does come back for the playoffs. Wouldn't be surprised if they make a move for a WR though.
2774979, I KEEP waiting to here someone signed OBJ...
Posted by Dstl1, Thu Oct-27-22 05:22 PM
but, maybe he's waiting to see how the landscape shakes out.
2774980, When would he even be able to suit up?
Posted by mista k5, Thu Oct-27-22 05:31 PM
Maybe Dal...ha yeah right like if Jerry would.

>but, maybe he's waiting to see how the landscape shakes out.

He's allegedly not gonna be ready until December. And he wants 'trust me, I'ma be byke byke whenever I'm healthy' money.

I hope he's right physically and I hope he goes somewhere that has a shot of winning who could use him.
2774982, Odell would be fun if he’s healthy. LSU connection lives on.

Posted by Amritsar, Sun Oct-30-22 11:21 AM
I get why Wilson doesn’t, but if he was more willing to tuck and run it would help their offense. He still has enough wheels to do it.

It’s clear he’s not really able to read the defense the way you would expect for his age. No shade in that. The ability to run has to supplement that weakness.
2775091, Lawrence about to be one of the biggest busts of all time.
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Sun Oct-30-22 11:24 AM
Prolly the second most hyped QB of the last thirty years (second only to Andrew Luck) and dude literally costs his team games with his own mistakes. They'd actually have a better record this year with a different QB. Broncos had no business winning this game.

The defense couldn't get them off the field, they finally do and reversed on a penalty. I'm not saying it's not a penalty but I don't know how he could have avoided it aside from just giving up on the play.
2775185, Yep, he was committed, fully….

Dude cause the pressure, somehow got to the ball to get the fumble recovery and had the presence of mind to lay low while Fields showed his hops to get the TD too lol That's going to be played for years to come.

DJ Moore gets a penalty for taking off his helmet, Atlanta elects to add it to the point after and the kicker misses a 48 yarder. Instead of Carolina winning in regulation, they go to OT…on the road. Amazing dudes that been playing football all their lives can have mental lapses like that.
2775123, He should’ve known the rule….but why is it a rule?

Posted by DJR, Sun Oct-30-22 07:38 PM

Short of physically attacking someone or delaying the game - the post TD celebration penalty is complete bullshit. Who cares?

Imagine all of the ‘where is the leadership!?’ think pieces if Cam, Crab Legs, or even Wentz was the qb of that team. Professional skater ARod has the golden pass to not throw all summer and show up with this sad sack of shit on offense and it’s kinda like ‘well! The wrs ain’t good enough!’. For that, I look at who Daniel Jones is throwing to, look back at whoever said that shit, and wait for a response.
2775173, I think it was Tony Dungy that said something similar.
Posted by Sofian_Hadi, Mon Oct-31-22 06:34 AM
Along the lines of "when Peyton, Brees, or Tom Brady got new receivers they'd immediately meet up and practice. He's doing alot of complaining for someone that didn't bother to throw with them over the summer."

Maybe that's my empty space.

I'm looking at general meathead/Twitter/average bros content..probably too much of that! And the little corner of THAT universe seem to be all over Russell Wilson with the contract talk, the memes, the insults, the random one-liners from ex-teammates, and all of that. And Rodgers has the same record without changing teams, coaches, or any of that. He's on TV looking like shit except for an occasional great throw. He's not winning. And no coaches are about to get canned. Maybe I need to reset my twitter machines and get another sample of bad faith takes.

And when you watch them, he's constantly putting the ball in catchable places, tucking and running at the right time, and generally 'making things happen'.

I'm probably very guilty of wishing greatness upon black qbs and then overreacting negatively when it doesn't happen. But whatever, Geno appears to have things going well, I'm happy about it, and I hope it keeps on rolling.

I've thrown hate all over Kirk a bunch of times but I don't know if Carr is even Kirking at this point. His highs haven't been as high as 'good Kirk' since he got hurt a few years ago.

Kirk is gonna be a wild player to put a finger on once he retires. If he somehow wins a SB, he's probably going to be treated like he was much better than he really was. If not? I have no idea..it could go either way depending on who is talking about him!

2775217, Bissacia deserved the HC job. The players believed in him
Posted by Mynoriti, Mon Oct-31-22 12:45 PM
after everything that happened to this team last season he managed to get them to the playoffs for the first time in 5 years. Dude should have been a coach of the year candidate, and they dumped him for someone who failed as a head coach the first time, then ghosted the last team who hired him.

players all respected Bisaccia and wanted him back, and yeah maybe it wouldn't have worked out but he earned the shot. instead looks like we have a another Belichik decicple who isn't cut out to be a head coach.

as for DC, yeah it not likely he'll ever turn that corner but i put this teams failures way more on McDaniels. Yesterday's play calling was abysmal. 4th and 1, and we have the hottest RB in the NFL. Let's turn the best route runner in the league into a running back like he's deebo and fail miserably.

Carr had a shit game, the D was garbage, the o-line was garbage, they abandonded Jacobs way too early, no one got open after the first quarter... At least in their fist 3 losses they were in every game (with AZ they gave up a big lead) this one they were all sleepwalking.

McDaniels belongs in the Norv Turner Hall of Excellent Coordinators but bad Head Coaches.

like, I have no rooting interest in the Raiders and I was really pulling for dude to get a chance, even though I knew it wasn't gonna happen. I dunno why teams gotta be so hungry for a "big" name. McDaniels aint' really done shit, for his name to ring bells like that. They had a guy, who like you said, was loved by the players and had things going in the right direction...despite having a load of shit dumped in his lap.

Tyler, damn near cutting him off and leaning into the mic “it’s amazing what you can accomplish when no one cares who gets the credit”

BUT

i think that was just covering his ass.

cuz one of the BIG things about the whole "Let Russ Cook" shit was to let Russ be "free to fire" cuz Russ wanted to win MVP and get the shine.

but the Cowboys and Giants still playing catch up.

As for the Browns...

Amari Cooper showed last night why "Poop For Cooper" was a thing before he was drafted. MAN.

Chubb is the best RB in the NFL, bar none.

The Browns should keep Kareem Hunt. They're not getting anyone else who can fill his role. We'll see.

The defense finally played a complete game. That should have been 32-0. Burrow got 2 lucky throws off, including one with the same sort of "OPI" that kept the Browns from victory against Baltimore.

One of the best nights from Brissett, who has only one clunker this season: Those damn Cheatriots.

The next times the AFC North teams face Cleveland... it will be with DW4. The Poo Poo is about to be eaten.

That makes sense both ways, right? Steelers appear to be out on Claypool for something we can't see. Bears need something resembling talent in the WR room.

I'm not sure what they're looking for on that one. Maybe someone with 'speed' to go along with the older guys they have? Seems like its not a real MOVE in the direction of trying to get an upgrade at RB for real. They'd be so much better off trying to get one of the Niner backs for a 3rd or 4th. Or D'Earnest Johnson.

That's a low-key but solid move for a 5th round pick. McDaniel knows him, its almost certainly a style fit, and we know Moestert isn't above getting hurt. I was hoping someone would do it and Miami did.

Bwahahahaha!

They don’t do it in the off-season. We know they aren’t doing it midseason!

It would’ve been nice for them to at least call up the Jets tho.

Meanwhile, Miami is loading it up, the Bills and Eagles were all up on people about rbs, and the Bears got their cap up and their draft picks up AND they’re gonna kick the tires on Claypool.
