And to a certain degree, he was. But the last 4-5 years he has been given chance after chance to express his thoughts and then clarify them, and he bungles it every single time. Then uses that as further evidence that he’s misunderstood.
Always a bad sign when you’re asking “Did I do anything illegal?” when no one was accusing you of doing anything illegal.
