He opted to rebuild what had been a pretty damn successful core, and not only got that wrong but huge $$$ on the likes of Schick, N'Zonzi, Pastore, Kluivert, etc... just woeful. And as usual all this happening within the complete insanity that is Rome didn't help.

Glad he got to get back to Sevilla, which is clearly the right environment for him.
