We're committed in the long run to Bron and AD. Trading them when they just signed deals here is horrendous optics, anyway. But they're already Laker legends and despite this year - they really are franchise cornerstones. Bron is probably retiring a Laker (I GUESS that Bronny thing might happen elsewhere, and perhaps he retires a Cav, but I doubt it)

The Westbrook trade was probably the most obvious error. I certainly don't think Buddy Hield would have made this team have a better record right today given the injuries, etc. But we're stuck with what we've got - which is most of the cap tied up in Bron/AD/Westbrook. THT probably has little value - but if Rob can flip him for something worthwhile, I'll be surprised (all these dumb Laker fans thinking we're going to get someone super impactful are just embarrassing).

Blowing the team up will, and should, have serious free agency implications moving forward.
