That’s a publicity stunt rule and they’re getting caught again not acting in good faith to do what the rule intended. They need a back room, unlisted rule. Like roll up on the owners with ‘look here, assholes. We aren’t having this convo anymore. In 3 years, we need to have at least 8 black ass head coaches and no less than 16 black coordinators’. As soon as someone says ‘but but but..qualifications’, reply with Urban Meyer and all of the McVay related mfers who have gotten gigs without having to even be coordinators first. Or people in Andy’s coaching tree.

Aka they can’t keep letting random dudes skip the line straight to head coaching gigs while still having almost no black head coaches. And even after that, we will have to deal with black coaches eating too much of the blame when their teams don’t win so it won’t be over. Anthony Lynn for instance. He’s gone from the Chargers and what do you know…they’re still jerks who lose close games in silly ways and occasionally get their asses completely kicked in weird situations. Or Todd Bowles with the Jets too. Like those mfers have won anything since Rex was there. They still can’t get qb right, offensive lines have been shaky, and their GMS in general haven’t been exactly amazing.
