So they did wait. His point is they didn't panic and trade into the top 5.
For whatever reason the Bears traded up ONE pick because the 49ers spooked them and they thought the Jets might trade ahead of them.
Let that team make that dumbass trade. Don't be that team. They turned out to be that team.
The Jets turned around and did it for Darnold the very next year. LOL.
