Both players were on their board. That is a fact. Watson was never
an interest for them. So had the Bears drafted Mahomes, the Chiefs
would have selected Trubisky or some other team before them.

Everybody wants to bullshit with how coveted Trubisky was that year.

Look, we know Trubisky isn’t good now. But during that draft year, and up to his
second season, that wasn’t the case. He was highly rated.
