Trubisky was hands down the number one prospect on all boards, and was
going to be taken number 3 by the Jets.

Here is the official prospect list from that year. Trubisky is number 1, some
even had Kizer over mahomes and Watson.

So Pace moved up and took the number one guy, who people wanted at the time.
In fact, the following season the bears went 12-4, and Trubisky was giving high
ratings. The wheels feel off after that season.

So again your perception is bullshit, and pace did a good job drafting, because
the bears have a roster of talented players.
