The only way works is if Vince decides not to book him into mid-card oblivion. And, I mean, c'mon, it's Vince. Cody might get a win over someone bulletproof at WM, but Vince has been obsessed with "humbling" people who come from another spot to the WWE. I ***really*** doubt that changes here. No way he lets the "competetion" guy win anything significant. So anyone saying that Cody is going to get a world title run is smoking sherm.

The only thing remotely interesting that could happen is if Vince puts Cody in charge of NXT. But even in that case he ends up the scapegoat if 2.0 continues to plummet.
