I would have bet anything that Punk was going to win, given the beatdown he got last week and that he was having the match in his hometown. I figured they were setting up Page and Punk for the Revolution Main Event and transitioning to MJF vs. Wardlow, but apparently not.

The match was great regardless, and Punk sold like an absolute champ the whole match. It looked like after the finish, MJF whispered something to Punk for damn near minute. I imagine he was thanking him, and I would certainly hope so. Punk essentially put over MJF TWICE in the same match, in his own hometown, to make give him nuclear heat.

I honestly don't know where this goes next. They could put MJF against Page at Revolution, but I'm guessing that they go for a Punk rematch, where Punk gets his win back. Then maybe Page fights Moxley after he gets a decisive win against Archer next week.
