i hated him before all the WWE shit though so i at least feel justified in my hate. dude was insufferable on The Challenge

but i also think he is a lot better now at what he's doing so it's like a "you're so great at being a hateable heel that even if its enjoyable we will still boo you out of respect"

also i think the Miz and Maryse show has probably helped him be more likeable to general audiences.
