Whoever fucked up the fireworks, they had an opportunity to go with it and have Omega come out on the stage right after laughing. But just like Cody getting busted open by Spears, they tried to have it both ways and let most of the week go talking about "how disappointed they were" until Callis "could neither confirm or deny" in a promo. If they just had Kenny playing Mox and Eddie for marks from the beginning, he comes off like a better, more complete heel. And the promo they followed up with would have still worked.

I think honestly a lot of people lost trust in him after that, and he barely got it back from the epic with Danielson.
