The hour draws nigh
2753978, another scripted drive with gadgetry
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 07:49 PM
Bowers lined up as a tackle on the TD
2753979, finally get to see mich play from a deficit
Posted by 3xKrazy, Fri Dec-31-21 08:02 PM

2753980, lawd… Cincinnati played better D than this
Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Dec-31-21 08:03 PM
2753983, I'm rooting for the M, but this aint looking good.

2753985, not an optimal 1Q, but not catastrophic
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 08:23 PM
2753986, for all the talk of the front seven...
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 08:28 PM
UGAs coverage on the All 22 is airtight

the only sack was a coverage sack where Cade had the time
2753987, the problem is putting together back to back to back plays on that D
Posted by LegacyNS, Fri Dec-31-21 08:30 PM
They don't stonewall you on every play. However, trying to 12 plays 75 is quite a task..

2753990, they could help themselves by not busting blocks
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 08:40 PM
if Hayes sees Dean blitz thats a big play, and if the LG doesnt leave 88 the read option is a big play

credit to Dan Lanning for the confusing looks, but there are more busts than beats
2753988, UM needs a stop on this possession
Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Dec-31-21 08:37 PM
2753992, UGAs LT is going early on every single dropback
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 08:44 PM
2753995, cotdamn. Michigan getting embarrassed
Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Dec-31-21 08:55 PM
this is beyond sad..
2753996, blatant PI
Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Dec-31-21 08:58 PM
not that it matters
2753997, gonna need a snow storm and OSU's wack ass D to walk out there 2nd half
Posted by 3xKrazy, Fri Dec-31-21 09:01 PM
dont see it happening
2753998, Ceej, your team is trash
Posted by allStah, Fri Dec-31-21 09:02 PM
Can’t even focking rep the Big 10.
2754002, do you still have them destroying bama?
Posted by 3xKrazy, Fri Dec-31-21 09:09 PM
2754008, lmao
Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Dec-31-21 09:39 PM
2754000, I do not approve this performance
Posted by Ceej, Fri Dec-31-21 09:04 PM
2754001, cosign
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 09:05 PM
2754004, Monken and Lanning beat Gattis and Macdonald decisively
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 09:20 PM
idk if its jitters, mental mistakes, actually not knowing where to be...whatever.

UMs defenders flying around before the snap waving their arms early in Q1 is the whole game in a nutshell

also seems like Gattis got a little too in love with a few things they hit big on vs Iowa

this reminds me of the 03-04 Rose Bowl vs USC where it just seems like they know what UM is doing before the ball is even snapped
2754007, agreed but UGA is also bigger, stronger, faster...

2754006, ionno if Georgia is locked in for redemption
Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Dec-31-21 09:38 PM
or if Michigan isn’t ready for prime time

could be both
2754010, both
Posted by 3xKrazy, Fri Dec-31-21 09:49 PM
2754009, Cannot believe we lost to this dogshit ass team of overrated bums
Posted by guru0509, Fri Dec-31-21 09:46 PM
Lord.... The last saturday of November in '22 is going to be a wolverine extinction level event in Columbus Ohio.

2754011, for reals...just praying the D gets back up and running in time

2754013, your coaches got whipped then
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 09:56 PM
the same way M's are getting whipped now
2754017, Totally agree, Harbaugh and Gattis shit on the defense we trotted out
Posted by guru0509, Fri Dec-31-21 10:05 PM
>the same way M's are getting whipped now
2754019, UGA also has the good sense to avoid Hutchison
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 10:10 PM
he hasnt been neutralized per se, more like theyve just gone around him
2754026, Day's play calling was awful as well
Posted by 3xKrazy, Fri Dec-31-21 10:23 PM
2754012, is McNamara still going to be the starter next year?
Posted by 3xKrazy, Fri Dec-31-21 09:55 PM
2754015, not by default
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 09:57 PM
but i would feel fine about it if he's the guy

and id also feel fine about it if he isnt
2754020, I doubt it... everyone is seeing his ceiling tonight...

2754027, the wheels are very enticing
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 10:25 PM
2754028, not a perfect example and i hate putting these 2 in the same sentence
Posted by 3xKrazy, Fri Dec-31-21 10:29 PM
but it was abundantly clear after the 2016 fiesta bowl shutout vs clemson that JT Barrett was not a guy you could win a NC with. OSU had Burrow and haskins on the roster but urban kept them on the bench and brought JT back for another year which effectively eliminated OSU from NC contention.

if harb doesn't hand the keys over to Mccarthy next year it will be a mistake.
2754029, we saw a similiar situation with Bryant and Lawrence at Clemson
Posted by LegacyNS, Fri Dec-31-21 10:33 PM
OSUs QB play has taken a considerable leap since JT...

2754030, Idk, our QBs dont run as much as I'd like them to. too much statue
Posted by guru0509, Fri Dec-31-21 10:53 PM
I miss the days of when an OSU qb was always a threat to tuck run and pick up 10 yards
2754034, hard to say that fields was a statue
Posted by 3xKrazy, Fri Dec-31-21 11:08 PM
Stroud can move but for whatever reason doesn't seem to like to. Maybe that will change next year.
2754048, Everytime Fields ran I held my breath out of fear
Posted by guru0509, Sat Jan-01-22 01:15 PM
There was nothing authoritative about the way he ran , it was more like “omg omg what now please don’t hit me *slide* into safety*

I was never a huge fan

I REALLY like Stroud , but I think Ryan Day doesn’t know how to run (or is uncomfortable) an RPO

>Stroud can move but for whatever reason doesn't seem to like
>to. Maybe that will change next year.
2754016, Georgia starting to think about Bama and getting sloppy.. lol
Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Dec-31-21 10:00 PM
2754018, Yeah I don’t need an expanded playoffs this is a joke
Posted by BrooklynWHAT, Fri Dec-31-21 10:09 PM
Michigan going out super sad
2754021, they do need to be expanded tho
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 10:16 PM
every conference deserves the chance for its champ to play for it, even if it means getting smoked.

a champions league type of process that brings a G5 team in with the P5 champs and 2 at large. everybody has to he able to say that if they went undefeated they win the national championship.
2754022, lmao.. dont let Michigan shitting the bed sway you
Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Dec-31-21 10:17 PM
they wouldn’t even make it to the final 4 playing like this in an expanded playoff
2754121, Agree, several teams could take Michigan out early
Posted by The Real, Sun Jan-02-22 10:17 AM
Baylor
Utah
Cincy would beat Michigan

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2754025, Welp…
Posted by soulfunk, Fri Dec-31-21 10:21 PM
2754031, this was a fun year. im not bothered by tonight in the least.
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 10:54 PM
as soon as the B1GCG was over, the season was an unqualified success.

and it looks like a lot of underclassmen were hits. Wilson/Anthony/All/Corum/McCarthy will still be playing together through 2023 and thats a core that can be as good as any skill package in the country.

2754041, + Edwards

2754032, I expected this to be a closer game
Posted by legsdiamond, Fri Dec-31-21 11:04 PM
hell, I thought Michigan had a real chance..

2754037, they did, but also didnt
Posted by cgonz00cc, Fri Dec-31-21 11:17 PM
they had a chance 3 weeks ago, but by the time the game started they didnt

its just that nobody knew that
2754044, what changed over the past 3 weeks?
Posted by 3xKrazy, Sat Jan-01-22 12:23 PM
>they had a chance 3 weeks ago, but by the time the game

2754061, UGA prepped better
Posted by cgonz00cc, Sat Jan-01-22 05:17 PM
they hit the 2 weakest spots in UMs defense (Colson and Gray) for all 4 TDs IIRC

there is no version of that game that ends well when UGA knows how to turn Colson into the field side cornerback
2754046, huh???? lol
Posted by legsdiamond, Sat Jan-01-22 01:06 PM
2754043, horrible matchup for Michigan as I said before
Posted by will_5198, Sat Jan-01-22 12:21 PM
Georgia is built to stop teams like Michigan

great season for UM though
